Maui Ocean Front Home Sales

Ocean front property on an island is limited by the coastal area and access. Beach front property is limited further. Beach front property with soft, golden sand, on a protected tranquil coast accessible for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing is the pinnacle. It is available, but very expensive. It all boils down to the basic law of supply and demand.

Maui's ocean front home sales are as diverse as the micro-climates on this island. Take a look at what has sold since January 1, 2009:

To no surprise the highest sales occurred along the South Maui - Wailea and Makena coastline. Here the beaches are laced with golden white soft sand and a protected coastline of tranquil azure blue intoxicating seas. The north shore coast is appealing to the active ocean enthusiasts, but the audience is generally more limited. As much as I, or other ocean enthusiasts love the north shore, the dream, the imagery and allure of island beach front and ocean front homes is more directed or desired to what exists along the southern coastline of Maui.
